The iv is out, the monitor is off, we are ready to go within the next hour or two!!

Going home!
We are getting discharged! He is still vomiting but the surgeon is going to let us manage it at home/outpatient. Couldn't get him in for an MRI today, so that will also be scheduled outpatient. But, in good news, the neurology team is pretty convinced that the vomiting is not related to the brain injury.

On another good note, here are the notes my professor left on my paper about Lalito. "this was so wonderful to read. It read like a movie. I felt connected to this family! You covered many multiple dynamics. Fabulous work!" Thanks for giving me such a great interview. I will send you copy of my paper once I make a few edits. I'm super glad you guys got to go home.
