The short version: Lalito was born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. Within 30 hours of his birth, he was put on ECMO - essentially a heart-lung bypass machine. After 2 weeks he suffered a subdural hematoma as a result of the blood thinner required while on ECMO. Today, his biggest fights are his digestive system with tube feeding dependency and right sided hemiplegia (weakness).
